We crossed paths in a way that seemed almost destined, brought together by Heidi, Brendan’s aunt and Becky's co-worker, who introduced us at a concert in Delray Beach, Florida. It was an unexpected meeting that sparked an instant connection. At the time, Brendan was visiting from Connecticut, while Becky was already settled in Florida.

Despite the distance, our connection continued to grow stronger. We found ourselves in a long-distance relationship, making the effort to travel and spend time together every few weeks. A year went by, and it became clear that we didn’t want to be apart anymore. So, Becky made the brave decision to move to Connecticut, and we found a cozy spot in West Hartford where we could build a life together.

Moving in together was a new experience for both of us, but it turned out to be surprisingly natural. Our days were filled with shared laughter, everyday moments, and the comfort of knowing we were right where we belonged.

Life took another turn when Brendan received an exciting job offer in Oklahoma City. Leaving our Connecticut life behind, we embarked on a new adventure in a new state. It was a leap of faith, but one we took hand in hand.

Just after settling into our new home, Brendan got down on one knee and asked Becky to marry him. It was a beautiful moment that marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our story.
