Q + A

What will the weather be like?

October is shoulder season so the weather is a bit unpredictable, it could be 80 degrees or we could have the first snow of the season. Average highs are in the 60s and average lows are in the 30s. In Colorado a good rule of thumb is to be prepared for anything and dress in light layers.

Will the higher altitude affect me?

Maybe! Everyone has a different level of sensitivity to the altitude. Denver is known as the Mile High City because it sits at 5280 feet. Check out the link below for tips on how to prevent altitude sickness. https://www.denver.org/about-denver/resources/high-altitude-tips/

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

As long as there is no inclement weather, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. There is a bit of a walk through gravel from the parking lot and the ceremony lawn is grass, so be mindful of your shoe choices. Also keep in mind that we are a mile closer to the sun here, so you may want to bring sunglasses and sunscreen if you are sensitive to that.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony. Kindly leave the photography to the professionals we hired and turn off your phones and cameras to truly enjoy the moment with us.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We know Colorado is a great family destination and we’d love for you to bring them. Just be sure to include them in your RSVP so we know to include them in our guest count.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Unfortunately, we will only be able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We ask that you RSVP by August 15th.
