Thank you so much for spending your bank holiday weekend with us in Norfolk.
Here are some wonderful things to do while you're here.
And if you're able to spend the entire long weekend in 'Nelson's County' ...lucky you, is all we can say!
Our wedding venue is in Wroxham; a village known as the Capital of the Norfolk Broads; a National Park with over 125 miles of navigable lock-free waterways and marshes set in beautiful countryside. It's easy to hire a boat and head off on a (slow) adventure - for just an hour or even a few days.

And if you need anything while you are here, 'Roys Of Wroxham' is definitely worth a visit. A local village shop that has branched out to every shop in the village. Literally.
You're spoilt for choice for woodland in Norfolk. There are such a variety of walks available to you, ranging from ancient, dense forest filled with enormous pines and tiny deer to heathlands of vibrant heather and massive skies.
Norfolk is well known for its natural coastline. Enjoy the sandy beaches, picturesque harbours and nature reserves, which are a haven for wildlife all year round.
Norwich is the capital of Norfolk. It's a beautiful city with a stunning cathedral, canals, the Norwich Lanes and a permanent market - as well as all your regular shops and restaurants. I'm sure you can find an Alan Partridge walking-tour as well.
There are some beautiful villages and towns along the coast and in the countryside, as well as classic stately homes and Sandringham Palace (for those who like a little royal flavour).
Norwich is home to the Norwich City Football Club - aka The Canaries.
And let's not overlook the local club - Wroxham FC (aka The Yachtsmen) can also put on a great show and are right down the road.
Go and watch some football if that's you're thing!
