Our Story
Rebecca and Josh grew up only a half hour away from each other. However, they met during Rebecca’s sophomore year and Josh’s freshman year at ECU. They shared many mutual friends and met on spring break in Panama City Beach, where the entire friend group shared a house. The trip was chaotic to say the least and didn't end as everyone hoped it would; and the COVID lockdown started that same week.
Throughout the next school year, everyone returned to Greenville. Rebecca and Josh continued to see each other frequently when the group of friends would all get together a few times throughout the week. A couple of weeks into the school year, they also realized they lived only two houses away from each other; on the corner of Jarvis St and 5th St.
Come January/February 2021, they realized they had a true connection and the rest is history! The invisible string theory.

What is the dress code?
We would love to see our families and friends dressed up for the big day. The dress code is semi-formal attire/cocktail attire. Ladies can wear a knee length or midi length dress. Gentlemen can wear a dress shirt and slacks; tie is optional.
How do I RSVP?
You can either scan the QR code on the invitation. Or if you prefer to mail it in, you can simply rip off the RSVP card and add a stamp to mail your RSVP back to us.
Are kids invited?
As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our immediate family. We hope you can use this night as a date night!
What time do I need to arrive?
We request everyone to arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure everyone is seated, parked, and ready to begin on time.
Can I bring a guest?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for additional guests. We are only able to accommodate for guests (plus ones) that are included on the invitations. Thank you in advance for understanding!
Will the ceremony and reception be held at the same location?
Yes! Both our ceremony and reception will be at Chateau Vie. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM and the reception will follow in the pavilion area.
When do I need to RSVP?
We request that you RSVP no later than March 16th!
