We first met swiping right in Spring 2019. After a few months, many text exchanges, and a snapchat reconnection, we met in person for our first date around Labor Day at a bowling alley (suggested by Rebecca) that was unknowingly closed that night. After a nervous laugh and realizing this was an oversight in planning, we agreed to find the next closest lanes. At the end of that date, we both knew this was going to be different making it an easy decision to plan our second date – the first of many Sunday brunches (due to our hectic schedules at the time).

Fast forward almost 5 years, we got engaged on August 4th, 2024. Mike proposed at one of our favorite hiking spots of a small waterfall & creek bed at 18 Mile Creek in Hamburg, NY. Even though the waterfall was nowhere to be found dried up from the summer heat, the moment was perfect, private, and totally us (+ Dorito 😊).
