Designed by the same urban designer that designed New York's Central Park, take a drive out to this famed island on the Detroit River and experience a free aquarium, nature preserve, botanical garden, and so much more. Let us know if you see any deer or elk on the island while you're there!

Detroit is home to way too many breweries to list and visit in one go, so we recommend a stop at the Brakeman if you want to take a tour of some Michigan made brews without having to bounce around town or the state! While you're there, check out Penny Reds for some amazing fried chicken and hot honey covered biscuits :)
