Ten years ago, Becky and Kyle signed up for a cross-country teen tour. Little did they know that the person sitting across the aisle on the bus would be the very same person with which they’d walk down a very different aisle on January 4, 2020.

Though the teen tour was the very first time they met, it obviously would not be the last. They remained casual friends throughout high school, but never really thought much more of it than that. However, that began to change after a pleasantly surprising run-in outside South Hall. As fate would have it, both ended up choosing to go to college at Penn State.

Throughout their four years in college they remained friends but finally decided to seriously date as senior year came to a close. The next three years saw Becky and Kyle through many personal milestones and life events, but their relationship was always treated as a priority — even if that meant commuting between Jersey, Westchester, and Manhattan just to spend time together. Recently, Becky and Kyle took one massive step forward and decided to move in together. Shortly after, they decided to take another big step.

On December 22, 2018, Kyle took Becky to the rooftop of Restoration Hardware for what was pitched as a rather nice, but otherwise unremarkable brunch together. While looking at the beautiful views, Kyle surprised Becky and got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. With no hesitation, Becky said yes! The two cannot wait to start this next chapter in their lives and look forward to celebrating with family and friends!
