Our wedding is being held at the Fairmont, Château Frontenac in Quebec City, Québec, Canada. Signage and staff will be present on site to help guide guests to the Frontenac ceremony hall.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony room will be available for entry as of 4pm, and guests are asked to arrive no later than 4:15pm to ensure that everyone is seated and ready at the ceremony start time.

Will the ceremony and subsequent venue halls be indoors?

Yes—the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be held indoors and in adjacent venue rooms.

What is the dress code?

Formal, black-tie optional.

Has transport been arranged to and/or from the venue?

Since the venue is located in the heart of the city, with a range of accommodation options within walking distance, there will not be a shuttle service.

Does the venue have parking?

The Château Frontenac has valet parking available at a standard vehicle rate of $45CAD per night.

Is there a recommended form of local transport in Quebec City?

Transportation around the city is recommended via taxi as opposed to apps such as Uber.

What will the weather be like?

Early September in Canada is still typically quite pleasant. Our wedding date in 2023 had a high of 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit) and a low of 12C/54F.

Are children welcome?

Yes! We will have a scheduled babysitting service during the reception from 8pm-midnight.

Will food be served?

Hors d'oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour from 5-6pm, with a plated four-course dinner during the reception.

How can I let you know about my dietary restrictions?

Wedding invitations will be sent out in the new year, giving guests the opportunity to RSVP, select their meal, and notify us of any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Are you having an unplugged wedding ceremony?

Yes! We kindly ask that guests turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present while Evan and Rebecca exchange their vows.

Will there be an open bar or a cash bar?

Open bar! We will have beer, wine, and bubbly available during the cocktail hour and then a full open bar (with liqour) during the reception.
