As a fourth-year medical student dating was the last thing on my to do list. Thankfully, my best friend Sayuri encouraged me to try Bumble. Begrudgingly, I downloaded the app, and I swiped right. I never contemplated that my future husband was already living under the same roof. Dan lived just four floors down from me in the Six67 College Avenue apartment complex. As fate would have it, we had been neighbors all along and neither of us had a clue that our lives would become intertwined. On our first date, we connected instantly. Conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter came easily, and it felt as though we’d known each other for years. Everything was perfect until my inedible pasta arrived and unfortunately for those around me, when I am disappointed with food, my face says it all. After seeing the disappointment on my face, Dan asked if he could try a bite of my dinner. He tasted it, smiled and confirmed my facial expression was warranted. Then, he gently pushed his own plate toward me so that we could share his dinner. That one simple gesture told me more about his heart than words ever could. From there, our love story unfolded, and we made time for each other whenever we could even when we lived in different states. I am forever grateful that one swipe closed the four floors between us.

When I began my fellowship in gastroenterology, life was busy and overwhelming. Little did I know a single swipe on an app would change everything by leading me to the love of my life.I remember our first date as if it was yesterday. I offered to pick her up, and to my surprise, I discovered we had been neighbors all along. Despite making me wait in the car for quite some time, the moment she sat down, it felt like I had known her forever. Everything felt natural and effortless. I didn’t want the night to end.Even though our lives were hectic, we always carved out moments for each other. That commitment became the foundation of something truly special. Early on in our relationship, she asked me to watch over her cat while she went away for a month-long hospital rotation. I didn’t hesitate for a second. Deep down, I thought to myself, 'this is it, I’m all in.'As we spent more time together, I got to see who she truly was and appreciate her values, morals, kindness, and strength. And the more I learned, the deeper I fell. What started with a swipe has turned into the greatest gift of my life, my future wife.

Alyssa is the bride's older sister, built-in best friend, and ultimate hype woman. She and the bride apparently look alike, so don't worry if you mix them up. Alyssa crushes it as a lawyer but swears she missed her true calling as a wedding planner. She is a die-hard Swiftie, an amazing dog mom, and a soon-to-be mom to the sweetest baby girl that the bride is ecstatic to spoil!

Sayuri is the bride's person and the extrovert to her introvert. They became inseparable early on in medical school and truly wouldn't have been able to get through it without each other. She knows the bride better than she knows herself and is truly the most thoughtful and kind person. While she won't kill a bug for you (she literally saves fruit flies), she more than makes up for it by being the life of the party!

Val is the groom's sister, the mother of the flower girl, and the soon to be sister of the bride. She is an engineer by trade but is also a marathon runner, a synchronized swimming coach, and the coolest soccer and dance mom around!

Hannah is the bride’s best friend since childhood. From competing together in gymnastics to attending the same elementary school, they've always shared an unbreakable bond as well as an immense love of animals. She is the most easygoing person you'll ever meet and is a proud new mom to a baby girl with the cutest cheeks imaginable!

Ashley has  been in the bride's life forever, literally... the bride actually held her as a baby! She's the little sister the bride always wanted and they have a plethora of embarrassing photos together as kids to prove it. She loves reading, long walks, and spending time with her family. She has a heart of pure gold and never fails to put smiles on people's faces!

Anthony and Daniel first met in high school, where their friendship quickly grew into a bond built on encouragement and shared ambition. Throughout the years, Anthony has been a true inspiration, pushing Daniel to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor while striving toward the same goal himself. Loyal, trustworthy, and unwavering in his support, Anthony’s presence in the wedding party is both an honor and a reflection of their enduring friendship.

Throughout the challenges of that time, Christian proved to be a constant source of support and encouragement. Genuine, dependable, and always present when needed, he has remained one of Daniel’s most trusted friends, making his place in the wedding party especially meaningful.

Daniel met Kruten during their medical residency, where their friendship quickly grew into one of trust and loyalty. Throughout the challenges of that time, Kruten proved to be a dependable and hardworking friend who was always there when needed. As Daniel’s closest companion during those years, Kruten remains someone he can always count on, making his role in the wedding party especially significant.

Elstowe Manor, nestled within the picturesque grounds of Elkins Estate, will host our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, offering an idyllic setting for our entire celebration.

For those traveling from afar, Elkins Estate offers charming overnight accommodations, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious weekend getaway and remain onsite for all weekend festivities. Guests may check in as early as 12 pm on both Friday, April 17th or Saturday, April 18th. On April 18th, breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided prior to the wedding ceremony. On April 19th, breakfast will be provided before everyone travels home.

PHL also offers convenient access to SEPTA Regional Rail. From Airport Terminal A at PHL, you can take the SEPTA Regional Rail to Suburban Station in Center City Philadelphia. From Suburban Station, you can take either the Warminster Line, West Trenton Line or Landsdale/Doylestown Line to Elkins Park Train Station.
