DJ and Rebecca met through her Sister in Law Ashley. Ashley had just started dating Brett at the time but she knew the Rebecca and DJ would be perfect together. There first date was on December 11th, 2016. They went to there now favorite restaurant El Vaquero in Locust, NC. Things just seemed to line up. DJ had Mia who was 1 year old and Rebecca had Kylie who was also just a year old. It was love at first sight and the kids became best friends right away. Four years later, they now live in a house together in Midland, NC with their now 6 year old daughters. Dj proposed on New Year's Day 2021 at their home in Midland.
