When are most people getting to Jaipur?

Most people are coming to Jaipur on 5th, 6th or 7th.

How do we get from Delhi to Jaipur?

Delhi to Jaipur can be reached by road (takes approximately 4.5 hours with stops) or by flight (30 mins). Please let us know if you are landing in Delhi and we will arrange your transport to Jaipur. Self driving is not an option!

How far is the Jaipur Hotel to Airport?

The Hyatt Regency Mansarovar is about 20 mins drive from the airport. We will arrange your pick up and drop from the airport.

What time does the wedding festivities start and end in Jaipur?

The events starts during lunch time on the 7th and ends the morning of 9th with breakfast.

Are there any dress codes for the wedding?

This is what most people do- Day 1- Welcome party lunch- Casual, you can wear Rajasthani or western if you'd like. Rebecca will be in a long skirt and top. Sangeet- Generally Indo-western theme, lot of dancing so be comfortable. For western, you can do a long gown for women and guys in suits, or if you do Indian, think saree, lehenga, etc. Guys can wear suits either way! Day 2- Haldi- Casual, can wear simple Indian or western clothes. Shades of yellow and orange are common for this event. Wedding- Similar to sangeet. Suit or Indian for men. For women, Indian Lehenga/ saree

Where can we buy Indian Clothes for the wedding?

Jaipur and Delhi are biggest hubs for shopping incredible indian clothes. You will see stores after landing in Delhi. If you are in Jaipur, we will have someone take you for shopping. The budget is variable, you can get really high end to reasonable clothing options, much cheaper than in the US. Let us know and we will arrange a shopping time for you. You can also ask Rebecca to send you some good websites she has used in the past.

Can we explore Jaipur during our trip?

Yes, if you are arriving earlier than 7th than you will have ample time to explore Jaipur. If you are in Jaipur for 7-9th, we can have some quick day sightseeing for you. We will have some sample day trips itinerary here. We can reserve and plan this for you as well. Morning (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM) 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) Location: In the heart of Jaipur. How far is Taj Mahal from Jaipur and how can we explore it?

Taj Mahal Agra is about 4-4.5hours drive from Jaipur. It is usually closed on Fridays. On other days, it closes 30 mins prior to sunset. The best time to visit would be after the wedding on the 9th (or before). We can arrange transportation and passes for you to visit Taj Mahal on the 9th. Day 1: January 9, 2025 11:00 AM – Departure from Jaipur Mode of Transport: Private car or taxi for flexibility and comfort. Distance: Approx. 240 km. Travel Time: 4-5 hours (via NH21/NH48). Tip: Leave as early as possible to maximize your time in Agra. 2:30 PM – Quick Lunch Stop (En Route) Suggested Venue: Highway King or another convenient highway restaurant. Duration: 45 minutes. 3:15 PM – Continue Journey to Agra You’ll need to keep the break short to arrive in Agra with enough daylight for sightseeing. 4:30 PM – Arrive in Agra Check-in to Hotel: Opt for a hotel near the Taj Mahal for quick access.
