From Nigeria to England, a wise man searched for work; little did he know that one day he would find a wife....

Our story began with some simple chats online. This led to a first date, meeting in Lidl's car park, then walking round to the garden centre for a drink. More conversations and walks followed. As his shifts were based around the area in which I lived, we began to see each other often and soon realised God had brought us together.

We went to Winter Wonderland; here we ventured to new heights on the ferris wheel. The big question was asked after this adventure....are we friends or something more?

More discussions followed, as well as some fun dates watching new films and Becca beating Kenny at bowling (or Kenny crippling Becca) . Valentine's Day came and went, with a new Switch and lots of rose petals - our relationship was well established.

Finally, on Becca's birthday no less, the bigger question was popped amongst the drizzle in Plantation Garden. Kenny was fiddling around trying to balance phone against rocks (very subtle) leaving Becca getting soaked in the rain and suspicious of what he was doing. Then some lovely old ladies (angels) noticed us, stopped and asked if we needed help, willing to take our pictures. We posed for a photo and Kenny knelt down to the ground, messing up his trousers on the wet grass, pulling a ring from his pocket, and asking the question: the answer was 'yes'.
