How far is the airbnb from the wedding 🌲?
The airbnb is about an hour drive from the ceremony site. There is no address for the Wedding Tree. (but the lat/long coordinates are: 43.631089, -110.564799)
How far is The Wedding 🌲 to Jackson town square?
It will take the bus less than half an hour to drive you to the town.
How far is Jackson Town Square to reception?
It will take the bus about 35-40 minutes to get you back to The Black Powder Guest Ranch for the reception.
What time will bus be leaving Jackson Hole and heading back to The Ranch for reception?
Bus pick up will be at 4 pm at the town square elk antlers.
What & where is Granite Hot Springs Pool?
Granite Hot Springs is a public geothermal bath located in the Gros Ventre Mountains, offering a natural hot spring pool fed by mountain water.
Located near the end of Granite Creek Road from Forest Road 30500 and Highway 189. This dirt road gets very bumpy. The dirt road is about 9 miles to the parking lot of Granite Falls and the free hot springs and can take about an hour to drive.
Granite Hot Springs Pool is an established hot spring pool just a little further down at the end of the road.
Pro Tip – if you’re coming on Hwy 189 from the South, the right turn onto the dirt Forest Rd 30500 is a very sharp turn so approach it very slowly!
Does Granite Hot Springs Pool cost money?
The main pool costs $12/ adult per day. Located 2 minutes away on the same property is Granite Falls Hot Springs which is free. Located near the waterfall, the natural hot spring is located on the opposite side of the wide river. There is only one hot spring pool and it is where the small hot spring waterfall flows in. The source comes from Granite Hot Springs Pool which is the paid hot spring located just above the waterfall. This free hot spring is a very small rock pool so it varies in size depending on how it is put together which can vary every year after the snow melts. You can adjust the water temperature by blocking off access of the river that flows into it.
Is there another airport option besides JAC?
Located about 2 hours’ drive from Jackson, this is a viable alternative for greater flight availability and potentially lower costs.
