From the very beginning, Tyler and Rebecca knew their relationship was special.

The couple first met in 2019 while attending The University of Tennessee. When Rebecca first saw Tyler at her fitness class (yes, he was the instructor), she grabbed her friend's arm and said, "Who is he? I have to know him."

Tyler and Rebecca immediately connected over their love for sushi nights, line dancing, and the good ole Tennessee Vols. As friends, they spent their time exploring Knoxville, long summer days in the sun, and Sunday nights at the Cotton Eyed Joe.

As their hearts grew fonder, their friendship naturally evolved into a dating relationship. Their first date was watching the sunset on Max Patch Mountain (where Rebecca couldn't believe he would make her "hike") over Hawaiian pizza and cookie cake. The next day, they drove back to Asheville for a second date at the Biltmore Mansion, where they both realized this could be the one.

Fun Fact: Tyler accidentally let "I love you" slip into a convo at The Biltmore, where he quickly claimed that he was referring to the plants in the greenhouse.

In 2022, Tyler and Rebecca reconnected after pursuing dreams and careers in different cities. When Tyler reached out to share that he was moving to Nashville, the two finally understood the notion of "when you know, you know."

Today, the two are overjoyed to begin the next adventure of marriage and celebrations. They hope to build memories by traveling the world, eventually moving to the coast, and perhaps expanding their little golden retriever family.
