Back in 2019, we were just strangers, about to start our spring semester of nursing school. At the time, we didn't even think about dating one another. It wasn't until a few months had passed of hanging out in our big friend group, that we started talking more and eventually went out on a date. Our first "date" we went to the movies and saw Captain Marvel. From then on, we spent every single day together and were inseparable.

We got engaged in Maine on August 1st, 2021. I (Becca) was so unbelievably sick the whole trip. I felt like garbage for most of the time we spent there. Lucas kept talking about going on a date night while there, so I knew I had to pull myself together. With the power of DayQuill, we went out. Our first stop was dinner. It was probably the worst dinner we ever had, so bad that the manager comp'd our entire meal and drinks. So with that, we left to go to Nubble Lighthouse, where Lucas proposed. It was the best day ever, minus the crappy food!
