Our Wedding

Circa 2015. A young, brunette from West River walks into Wagner School District to visit her cousin for a day during classes. A blonde, bohemian young man, notices her smile and thinks, “Man, Brooklyn’s cousin is kind of hot.” Months later after sporadic contact during summers spent in Wagner, the two met up later under the stars and neon bar signs at the Dante Street Dance. The rest is written in history, but before the couple could become 1, there were 2 individual, likeminded souls.&nbsp; Over the next seven years these individuals would go their own way. One went north to the Pride of the Prairie and the other south, to the premier university in South Dakota (Umm, excuse me?). However, their roads always would cross, whether at Wagner Labor Day or the Dante Street Dance and the spark was always there. Life continued on for both until a global pandemic brought life to a halt and brought Andrew and Rebecca back to the Wagner area. With nothing but time during Covid, the two got to know each other and breathe a little oxygen into the spark. Life has been a long winding journey for both of us but now our roads lead in the same direction. For now, that road leads to Vermillion where Andrew will be attending Law School in the fall. Wherever our path takes us in the future, whether it's a road trip through the desert in a camper van or across the globe, we are so thankful for all the people we have met along the way. The beauty of life is the people we meet on our journey and the memories we make along the way. We are so thankful for all of you and look forward to many memories to come.

Mother of 3 or 4 counting Justin, Rachele is an advocate for Andy's rights as a future husband to her sister. With a phase of My Chemical Romance and red bangs, Rachele serves as the blunt, body guard AKA older sister to Rebecca.

Farmer, rancher, carpenter, outdoorsmen, Ben wears a lot of hats, but public speaker is not one of them. The groom's younger brother is a great guy to know but not a great conversationalist, so if you want to see him squirm be sure to chat him up as much as you can at the reception.

"Mary Ann & Wanda were the best of friends", much like this Potter County Battler and the Bride. From matching tattoos to endless college nights, Morgan has guided Becca through every "dramatic" moment since 2014.

Handsome, charming, witty, Daniel is a carbon copy of his older brother Andrew. He is currently attending MTI to be an electrician, so he'll be on call at the reception if the dance floor gets too electric.

Bridging our world with infectious smiles and sassy eye rolls, these Vietor sisters are sure to bring the aisle to life. With a nostalgic tag line of "No Becca", they couldn't resist saying anything but yes to Andy as their new uncle.

Pack your quarters! The game room at Knotheads, located on the west side of Pickstown towards the Dam, offers darts, pool tables, and several other games.

The course is ours! From 12 to 6 p.m., the Randall Hills Country Club is blocked off for the newlyweds and their guests. Sneak in a quick 9 while the couple takes photos!

Frolfing? Zip up the frisbee bag and test out the 9-hole frisbee golf course at Randall Creek (below the Dam). Watch your step on hole 5, the geese like to mark their territory!

Calling all history buffs! Explore Fort Randall and its surrounding areas. A stop at the visitor center leads to a guide to the old church and a path through the historic fort site.
