Our Wedding

Rebecca and Misheck met four years ago when Rebecca moved to Pretoria to complete her community service in Radiography. While looking for a place to stay for the year, she landed up in the same rental place where Misheck stayed. He asked her out on a date and the rest was history. The two of them start spending more and more time together, eventually discovering that their connection has become far deeper than either of them expected.In 2023, while on a short vacation to Cape Town, they went on a dinner date at&nbsp;&nbsp;Tang Restaurant at the V&amp;A Waterfront. Shortly before the meal was served, Misheck&nbsp;&nbsp;dropped to one knee and asked Rebecca to be his forever and she said yes! Misheck had secretly planned the whole thing, with Rebecca thinking it was just a casual dinner date. It was romantic and everything she had imagined.Here they are now, still making new memories. Whether it’s dining out, going to the movies, or binge-watching the latest Netflix series, they’re&nbsp;&nbsp;constantly reminded how lucky they are to have found each other. Now, they’re gearing up to make their wedding day as fun and unforgettable as the rest of their&nbsp;&nbsp;journey together, and they can’t wait to celebrate with you all.

Although we love your children as much as we love you, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Weather considerations

Since our wedding is in the Spring, there's a chance of rain. We recommend bringing a pair of flat shoes, a warm jacket, or an umbrella just in case the weather turns.

Is accommodation provided?

The Upside Down House is just that, it's a house built upside down. All the furniture inside, etc which would normally be on the floor, is now above your head. This is an amazing experience as one's mind cannot comprehend what is happening.Visitors tend to spend an hour to 2 hours in and around the house, taking all kinds of amazing photos (its amazing to see the creativity that flows). Bearing in mind, the house is also built on an angle, thus it contributes immensely to the illusion and experience one has when entering the house.&nbsp;
