Travelling from Glasgow

Enterkine House is around a 45 minute drive from Glasgow. For those driving, follow the M8 to Greenock/Glasgow Airport/Kilmarnock taking the M77 exit towards Kilmarnock/ Prestwick Airport. Then follow signs for the A77. Stay on the A77 for roughly 11 miles. Exit the A77 onto the A719 then follow signs for Annbank. From there, Enterkine Country House will be well sign posted.

Traveling from Edinburgh

Enterkine Country House is roughly a 2 hour drive from Edinburgh . For those driving, follow signs for the the M8 to Glasgow. Stay on the M8 for about 39 miles. Then, take the M77 exit towards Kilmarnock/ Prestwick Airport. Follow signs for the A77, staying on the A77 for around 11 miles. Exit the A77 onto the A719 then follow signs for Annbank. From there, Enterkine Country House is well sign posted.

Parking

There are plenty of parking spaces available on site for those staying at the hotel or those who choose to drive on the day.

Public Transport

The closest train station to Enterkine Country House is Ayr Station. Unfortunately, no bus services come close to the venue. Your best option would be to get a taxi from the station which is a 14 minute drive.

Wedding Buses

To make things easier, we’re planning to run a bus service from the venue to a few nearby hotels at the end of the night. If you plan to use this service, please let us know in advance so we can arrange appropriate drop-off points. You will be asked about this when you RSVP.

Please note, although we will make every effort to drop you off as close as possible to your accommodation, the bus can only make a limited number of stops.

Please be aware, we will not be planning any transport from Ayr to the ceremony.
