Deirdre and I met in 2012 through her husband, Alex, when him and I were college roommates. Alex and I also went to High School together. Deirdre and I started hanging out more and hit it off right away. We went on some couples trips together and started having our own girls nights. She is one of the best people I know and I’ve always said she is my person. She is my rock and I am so thankful to have her in my life. Now, I get the honor of being “Aunt Bec” to her two year old daughter, Lilly. Deirdre has been there for me through so much and I could not ask for a better MOH. Love you, Deird.
Taylor Winnie - Maid of Honor
Taylor and I met when we were seven years old. Taylor holds a majority of my childhood memories, high school, and college when we both attended Grand Valley. She “claims” I kicked her out of the Cheetah Girls Club in fourth grade lol but we bounced back and have never been apart. Taylor was/is the closest thing I had as a sister growing up. Taylor has always been there for me and always reminds me to always stay true to myself. I’m so thankful to have her standing by my side as my MOH. Love you, Tay!
Bre Prigge - Bridesmaid
Breanna and I met in 2011 when we started playing soccer together. She was also good friends and neighbors next to my family, the Al-Mansoors. Breanna and I started hanging out a lot more once I also started hanging out with her twin sister, Jessica. We had a lot in common and hit it off quickly. We became college roommates in Lansing in 2013 and again in Grand Rapids in 2017. I stood up in her wedding with Marcus who I’ve also known since seventh grade. She has such an amazing heart and gives her love and support to anyone she knows. She is so hardworking and supportive. I’m so thankful to have her standing up with me. Love you, Twin.
Nicole Novak - Bridesmaid
Nicole and I met in 2007 through her step sister, Emily, who was one of my good friends. One of our first days hanging out was on a snow day and we spent hours outside and I almost lost my pinky toe to frostbite lol. We continued to have many sleepovers and late night trips to BK. We became college roommates in 2012 and we had the best time scaring each other with Alex or laying under the Christmas tree. Nicole’s humor and laughter can instantly change your mood. She cares so much about everyone she knows and always wants you to know how much you mean to her. I’m so thankful to have her by my side. Love you, IDEIT (inside joke lol).
Nikki Al-Mansoor - Bridesmaid
Nikki and I have also been together our whole lives. She is such an amazing cousin and friend to me. Just like Sara, you could not get us kids to stay inside. We always wanted to spend our time outside. My best childhood memories are with the Al-Mansoors. Nikki has a heart of gold. She has the best energy that makes you realize that you don’t have to sweat the little things in life. She always offers the best perspective. Love you, Nik!
Sara Al-Mansoor - Bridesmaid
Sara and I have been together our entire lives. She is an amazing cousin and friend to me. We grew up together playing outside, building snow forts, riding snowmobiles, climbing trees, and going on trips with our family. She is one of the most positive people I know and her excitement about the little things in life, brightens your day. I’m so thankful to have had her as a “sister” growing up and even now. Love you, Sara!
Jessica Andrews - Bridesmaid
Jessica and I met in high school from playing soccer together starting in 2011. We also spent a lot of time together because we had mutual friends. We hit it off right away and loved having girls nights. So many laughs have been shared especially when we were roommates in 2014 together. Jess has committed her time to the military for the last eight years and we cannot thank her enough for her service. Even though we might not have been able to spend as much time together the last few years, it’s like no time has passed between us. She is such a caring, supportive, and strong person. So thankful to have her in my life. Love you, Jess!
Groomsmen
Cole Weirich - Best Man
Cole and I have known each other since we were kids. As the years went on, we became great friends in high school. After we graduated, we became roommates at Eastern and lived together for six years. We were always up to no good but that’s when we had the most fun. We have too many memories to list, and I’ll always appreciate our friendship more than anything. We’ve been through it all and then some together. He’s the closet thing I have to a brother and he just made me an uncle a few months ago! Can’t wait to have you standing by my side, Coleman! It wouldn’t be any other way. Love you, dude.
Cody Lake - Best Man
I met Cody through Brandon when we were 15. We would go over to his house for new episodes of the Jersey Shore ( I don’t know why we loved that show so much) and became best friends instantly. Through the years, he’s been someone I could talk to about anything and he has always had my back. When we hangout , I don’t think we stop laughing until someone leaves. Cody is the kind of guy you want in your corner. I’m thankful he’s in mine. Love you, brotha!
Nathan Davis - Groomsmen
Nathan has been my friend since we were little kids. We became close in middle school when he would let me listen to his iPod in art class with him. That was the first time I heard Jack Johnson. He also changed my life, and introduced me to hobo stew. He’s the funniest kid in the room, and is always a great time. We’ve always been partiers, and some of my greatest memories through my life involve Nathan. Whether it was discovering new music, watching Trailer Park Boys, or going up to the cabin, we were never bored. He’s someone I consider family. Love you Natedawg!
Jake Powers - Groomsmen
Being introduced to the family of the person you’re dating is always scary. Jake made it easy. He’s always been super inviting and made me feel comfortable right away. We have a mutual passion for sports and the conversation always comes so easy. We both love Michigan athletics and know the pain of being a Lions fan (that’s enough to bring anyone close lol). However, I can never thank him enough for being so open to me joining the family, and allowing me to be there through the ups and downs. I’ve been able to watch him grow over these last few years, and I’m very proud to say that he’s my future brother-in-law. I can’t wait for the memories ahead. Love you man!
Isaac Henry - Groomsmen
Isaac was Cole’s little brothers friend growing up. So, we always knew of each other. Over the past few years though, we’ve gained a very strong friendship. He’s someone who is so easy going, that it’s hard not to have a good time with him. We’ve always been the party hardy kind of people together, which usually gets us in trouble. That’s where our mutual love for things came. We always want to have a good time with the people we care about. I appreciate that trait a lot about Isaac. He’s a loyal friend who always wants you around and picks you up when you’re down. Not to mention, we both love Nickelback. I’ll play the air guitar with you anytime brotha. Love you man!
