Becca and Ryan met in downtown Austin in November of 2017 at a wakeskate movie premiere put on and created by Ryan's friend (Andrew Roehm) and that Becca was dragged to on a Sunday night by her friend (Jordann Mackenzie). Shout out to these two or who knows how long it would have taken them to officially meet. While their paths had potentially crossed a few times before as they both attended Texas State University and shared many mutual friends, that meeting in November of 2017 would be the beginning of their love story.

Ryan grew up in Northwest Hills here in Austin and attended Anderson High School. He is a biologist working for an environmental consultation company and is currently working towards his PhD in Biology.

Rebecca grew up in Round Rock and attended Stony Point High School. Ryan likes to remind her that Round Rock is not in fact Austin when they explain to people where they are from. Rebecca is a licensed mental health counselor and owns her own practice here in Austin.

Becca and Ryan share 3 dogs and 1 cat and have built a beautiful life together over the last almost 7 years and are over the moon to be married and see what is in store for them next!
