Our story began in the late fall of 2020 after meeting online and talking every day for over a month about common interests including hockey, golf, and television shows. Fast forward 1 year and Justin asked Rebecca to move in with him and begin building a life together. A few short months later, Rebecca was promoted to Sales District Leader for Hamilton PepsiCo. Rebecca having to relocate, Justin put his house up for rent and they both moved to Waterdown where they still currently live. Justin and Rebecca knew wherever they lived wasn’t home, but home was with each other.

On November 30th, 2022 Justin proposed to Rebecca in the quiet intimate setting of their home. Rebecca’s favorite time of year was Christmas time, and Justin wanted to incorporate that into his proposal. They had just set the Christmas tree up the weekend prior and holding true to their tradition of buying each other Christmas ornaments each year, Justin presented a Christmas ornament to Rebecca with a picture of them on it. When Rebecca turned it over to look on the other side it read "Our 1st Christmas Engaged”, to both surprise and excitement, Rebecca could not get “yes” out fast enough.

Rebecca and Justin continue to grow their love together each and every day, being sure to celebrate every accomplishment together along the way. Rebecca has continued to support Justin through his career from Supervisor, to Dispatcher, and now Instructor with Toronto Transit Commission. Justin has continued to provide Rebecca with the same love and support as she has continued to grow in her career and accomplish many achievements and recognitions in her current role. We both enjoy playing golf together in the summers, going for hikes, and taking on new adventures. We cannot wait to celebrate our love and continue to build our story, as September 21st, 2024 will mark the next chapter in life as a married couple.
