Terry and I first swiped right on December 5th, 2021, and went on our first date a few days later, where our close friends Abby and Justin showed up or as Terry would say spied on our first date as Abby kept giving him thumbs up throughout the night.

Terry then asked me asked me out again and after a few weeks he asked me to be his girlfriend on December 20th, 2021.

Our first out of many trips was to Souix Falls on New Years Eve, where we traveled a lot more for birthdays and day trips to spend with friends, as well as out to Wisconsin where my family is. Terry was very anxious and nervous about meeting my parents but came to love going out there for weekend visits, spending time with friends and family, hiking, and enjoying trips up north for the day.

We made the decision to buy a camper in the early summer of 2022, as we were doing a lot of traveling and eventually lived in the camper for 4 months, before we moved into our home later that August.

Terry was set on not having any pets for a while, but after I kept talking about it and some long conversations we adopted Bo a little before we moved into our home, we made a lot of trips to the lakes for a swim and car rides, as they became his favorite things.

After a year of Terry and I being together, he was ready for the next step.

We had went out to Wisconsin Dells to spend Christmas with my family. I had came back home with my mom after spending most of the afternoon with her, I was told I had a present to open before we left for dinner with friends. And as I opened the gift Terry had gotten down on one knee behind me and waited for me to read the note. When I finally turned around we were both starting to tear up as he didn't say anything right away, I told him he was going to make me cry, even though I already was, and asked me to marry him and on January 27th, 2023 I said yes!
