Connor and Rebecca met in June of 2014 when they joined Cincinnati Sports League as "free agents" on a kickball team. Both recent transplants to Cincinnati, they joined to find friends in the city. What began as a friendship quickly grew into more. Little did they know, the next 10+ years would be filled with friends, fun, travel, and so many memories. To this day, they love their time together traveling, camping, going to sporting events and breweries, spending time with friends, and enjoying their urban lifestyle.

While the consensus among friends and family (including Rebecca) was that this couple was happy and would never marry, Connor had a surprise up his sleeve. On the 10-year anniversary of the day they met, he took an unsuspecting Rebecca on a tour of all their "firsts”: The park where they first met, the location of their first date, etc... Connor proposed while watching the sunset at Bellevue Hill Park which overlooks the Cincinnati skyline. Little did Rebecca know, Connor had gathered many of their friends (who were also completely unaware of this plan) at their favorite neighborhood bar for a surprise celebration after.
