Samantha - Maid of Honor
Best friends since we were three, Sam’s been there for the highs, lows, and everything in between.
Allie - Matron of Honor
Rebecca’s first cousin who grew up as her sister. Being only 1 1/2 years apart caused a lot of silly drama and amazing laughs and stories. Allie is on Rebecca’s speed dial, although Allie would rather just text…
Ashley - Bridesmaid
Sister of the bride! Even with a ten year age gap, the shenanigans were endless! Ash is always able to provide great advice and a good laugh.
Darby - Bridesmaid
Rebecca’s oldest sister! Darby has always been able to provide the wise advice of life!
Kate Kozak - Officiant & Groom's Honorary Wedding Party Lead
Kate and Chris started off life on a rocky note as she tried to blind him on the joyous day of his birth (see picture). Whether it be from jealousy or trying to take out someone she recognized as an equal, since that day things have looked nowhere but up. From late night dance lessons with toddler Chris dressed up in a tutu, to walks on the beach in recent years their friendship has seen it all and will continue to last a lifetime.

Chris and I met in college and kicked it off…slowly. However, throughout the years I have worn many hats for Chris. Think fraternity brother, roommate, golfing buddy, drinking buddy, hunting guide, therapist, good influence, bad influence, dependent, bestie, brother from another mother, etc. The list goes on, but I can’t think of any other hat I would be more honored to wear, than the hat of Chris Mack’s Bestman (albeit as one of many).
JW Blaney -
From the soccer pitch at Chapelwood and spending the entirety of their allowance at the neighborhood 7-11 to rock climbing across the Rockies and concerts at Cane’s Ballroom in Tulsa to the rooftop pool at the Hard Rock in Vegas JW and Chris' friendship spans the gamut
Shane Flasher
Chris & I met one fateful night on a double date at a party early in college. The group was looking to Irish exit the party but no one had a plan. So, Chris suggested they walk to his campus apartment, wake up his roommate, and request he put on a solo cello concert for them, which he happily obliged. The next day Shane asked Chris on a Pei Wei date, minus the girls, and they ended up long boarding clear across Tulsa into the night. From that point forward, the pair became friends that would always say yes to each others random adventures with bumps, bruises, laughs, cry’s and many stories along the way.
Bill Marine -
Chris and I met for the first time on the first day of high school during our freshman year where we both got kicked out of English for “disturbing the class”. From that point on Chris became one of my best friends. Companionship came easy for Chris and I as we shared many of the same interest such as responsible drinking and always following the rules. I’ve lost count of all the adventures and life’s lessons that we got to share and learn along the way. From being there for each other through the good times and bad I can say that Chris is exactly the kind of friend that I want in my circle, and I look forward to the many more years of having each other’s backs. So happy for you bro. Nothing beats finding the love of your life. Wishing nothing but happiness and positivity for you and Rebecca.
Robert Ramsey -
I met Chris in high school. While we separated a while for college, the bond one makes while allegedly breaking out of a Mexican jail lasts forever.
James Powers -
Chris met James, Clay, Matt and friends one night while he was coming home from a sub par date, (obviously since it wasn't Rebecca). Chris saw some guys hanging out grilling around the pool of his apartment complex and decided to say hello. He said he had recently moved back to Houston and didn't know many people, the group welcomed him with open arms forever altering his reintroduction into Houston. James and Chris continued to live in the same apartment complex for a few years and became close friends. Continuing to bond over the Astros struggles to win their second World Series, which developed their shared interests for late night parties, casual side bets over table games, and cocktails. Despite moving into our own houses and an Astros WS their friendship continues to grow.

My first memory of Chris was when he showed up on the fraternity steps of Pi Kappa Alpha. As Rush Chairman it was my responsibility to welcome incoming freshman and their parents into the house and deliver words that would make them feel certain that their sons would develop into exemplary leaders and gentlemen. The planning and preparation leading up to this was immense. Every word had to be carefully crafted, every shelf dusted, the floors freshly mopped.. As I mentally prepared myself for the long day ahead, I heard footsteps entering the front of the house. 30 parents and sons were standing in the living room awaiting my speech. I'd like to say it went well. It didn't. There was only one family left, the Macks. I showed them the house and where their son would be dedicating all of his time to studying. It was shortly after that we found ourselves in the downstairs dance/event room. It's hard to come up with a good reason as to why their shoes are sticking to the floor amid the smell of stale beer. The fact that Chris and I were able to somehow convince his parents that joining the frat was still a great idea after is a perfect example of our friendship. We share insights and make sense of things that others don't understand. We don't see each other as much as we once did but we always pick up right where we left off without skipping a beat. Cheers!

I met the young Christopher during rush at the University of Tulsa, an exact date and time is lost to the annals of history. A wayward youth, no doubt, he had entered our hallowed halls in search of purpose and meaning. Instead, we provided fun times and funnier stories. As we all matured through those formative college years, our bond matured from frat buddies to confidants and lasted as we moved from city to city. We have both evolved immensely since our first beer on the steps of Pi Kappa Alpha, but have endured a true and lasting friendship.
Kevin Kozak -
Chris and Kevin have been lighting up occasional celebratory cigars and burning down the night in Houston or Montauk since before 2013. Co-captain on epic sunrise and sunset kayak outings, with and without champagne (as one does). The pair have enjoyed many bonfires and long walks along the beach at night talking about anything going on in each others lives, from happy to sad and everything in between. Ultimate confidants, their bond continues to grow as they find new adventures along the beach of life.

Chris started out as my pool boy. Taking care of our families pool the summer before we moved from Norway. I like to remind him of this as a joke, he reminds me that he had some of his best parties at my pool before we even moved in, lol I think he wins. Fast forward a few years, it quite literally took a hurricane to start the true friendship between our families. A tree had fallen right on top of Big Mack’s house and I'm such a wonderful person/neighbor I went over to make sure everything was ok. I didn’t know it then but fast forward a few more years filled with tons of ups and downs and Chris has ended up turning into the brother I never had. I am so proud of you and I am so happy you have found the love of your life! I also love everything about Rebecca except for how good she is doing in our fantasy football league! Cheers to a happy life!

I first met Chris while grilling steaks at his apartment swimming pool, he walked up with a bottle of scotch and cigars hoping to meet some people in Houston. From that point on we’ve become close friends. Him and I have indulged in more than one bottle of wine and a few sushi dinners together with our ladies. Chris is one of the good guys, a great listener, giver by nature and all around great guy to have in your corner. I couldn’t be happier for you and Rebecca, love y’all.
Matt Shadle -
Origination from above. Over the past few years since meeting by the pool, Chris and Matt have become great friends enjoying vacations, pool days, dinners, golfing and much more. Matt goes out of his way to share his pizza making and grilling know how any time they get together with many more cook outs to come.
Brent Mandelkorn -
Chris and Brent met through a friend and quickly became fast friends due to our love of Houston summer tee times, occasional good cigars, nice cocktails, and general shenanigans. Nothing better than a first Friday with co-chef Rebecca and sommelier / supervisor Chris. We have found ourselves on a number of adventures in New Braunfels getting our schnitzel on and Montauk enjoying long good weather nights. A “relaxing” weekend in Mexico continues to add to the tale. To many more nights and many more adventures.
Charles Wilhelm -
Chris' first cousin on Barbara's side, Charles and Chris are friends and family alike. We grew up hitting the waves in Montauk and playing Nintendo 64 in his parents' basement in Connecticut; as adults we haven't changed all that much. Whatever changes life brings, Chris will always be quick with a joke and you're likely to see Charles at the wedding cracking up like a hyena right alongside.
Carl Thorn-Thomsen
Carl & Chris met in high school, and bonded over the years when we kept finding each other each unwittingly in the middle of one of Bill's schemes or pranks. Like two guys who realize they're on a bank heist in the middle of the heist, Chris and I learned to embrace the chaos. Fun times. I also had the privilege of getting to know the Mack family really well when we were growing up, and enjoyed some really memorable times with them in Santa Fe, Montauk and all over Houston (and I picked up some epic quotes from Chris's father Steve that I still use today).
