One would never think to meet their love on an Uber ride. On a late night after a long night out, calling an Uber changed our lives. January 14th is the day Sean and Becky unknowingly became best friends forever. The conversation was so easy it made the 15 minute ride feel like it was only 15 seconds. Being so ingulfed in talking about where each was from and what each liked, both forgot about the other 4 people in the back seat. When Becky got out of the car, the other people kept asking why the two didn’t exchange information because they basically witnessed the first date. Blowing it off as just a good easy conversation, Becky kept telling them, “He was just being nice.” Little did I know, our paths would cross once more the following week by matching on tinder. Sean immediately messaged Becky and they set the real first date for January 23rd which was the night neither wanted to end. From having dinner at The Depot to drinks at Lincoln Lounge, the date ended with a movie at almost 3 in the morning. After that date, the two were insperable. The moment Becky knew he was her forever was when Sean decided to show up to a local concert to a band he has never heard of or even liked the genre of. Sean even says that moment was a turning point for the relationship. The two challenge each other to step out of their box and understand each other on a whole new level. Sean proposed on November 3rd, 2018 planning it to where all of the parents could be there. Just buying a home together meant everyone was in Reno to help move and unpack. Deciding to go out to a nice dinner since it was a rare occasion for everyone to be together, Sean’s plan was in motion. After being seated and ordering our food, Sean got called away on a work call. Really he was setting up everything at the house. Getting home, Sean tells Becky that before making a toast to the house he needed to show her something outside. Becky immediately thought a pipe burst or something. Sean then turns on the twinkle lights and LED candles spelling out “marry me” in the middle of a heart made from rose petals. He asks her to marry him and then says “we’re just making it official because I already know I’m spending forever with you.” It was beyond magical. Sean knew how to make the night special and how to really surprise her without suspecting everything. Being beyond lucky to have found each other, Sean and Becky are so excited to start the rest of their lives together.
