Sean and I met when we both needed a friend and someone to lean on. He had just lost his wife and I was grieving the loss of my husband. We met online and became each other's support group. We talked every day and found that we could totally relate to what the other was going through.

Then we became great friends and talked every day or several times a day. Then we fell in love. And discovered that while we grieve our losses and will never forget; life continues on.

We were not each other's firsts, but we are grateful to be each other's last.
