For two Catholics, the sacrament of marriage is celebrated in the context of the sacrifice of the mass. During mass, scripture is read, a homily is given, and the offerings of bread and wine are transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ.

Attire is semi formal. The weather in Colorado should be cool in November, but hopefully we will still have a sunny day! Our wedding ceremony will take place in a Catholic Church, so please keep the sacred nature of the space in mind.

There is a bit of time between the end of our mass and the beginning of cocktail hour. In the "things to to" tab of this site, we are including some places that you may want to visit throughout the weekend, as well as some bars or coffee shops you could visit between events if you'd like. It takes 25-30 minutes to get from St. Mary's to the Knights of Columbus venue downtown, but Denver traffic is always a question mark!

There will be a designated outdoor space for smoking and vaping at the venue. However, cannabis in any form is prohibited at our venue, inside or outside.
