Black Tie Optional: For women, this looks like long or midi length silhouettes, dressy jumpsuits, or upscale cocktail dresses. For men tuxedos optional, not required. Dark pants and jackets. We are getting married in the Catholic Church with a full Mass. We ask that you keep in mind the sacred nature of Mass when planning your outfit. It is always an option to have a light cardigan/jacket for Mass that you can take off for the reception. Thank you for your consideration!
What should I expect at mass if I'm not Catholic?
Please do not worry about not knowing what to do! We will provide a pamphlet as you walk into the Church to guide you throughout Mass. The Catholic Mass is a prayer from beginning to end. A Nuptial Mass has three parts to it - the Liturgy of the Word, the Rite of Marriage, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. During the Rite of Marriage, Rebecca and David will exchange their vows and rings and be married!!
What time should I arrive?
Our Mass will start at 1:30 PM. It would be a good idea to arrive 20 minutes early so you can park your car and take your seat before it starts. Following Mass, our guests will have a break before Cocktail Hour begins! Please use this time to rest, relax, or explore our favorite downtown Georgetown square! Cocktail Hour will begin at 4:00 PM at The Vineyard at Florence.
Is the Reception Indoor or Outdoor?
The venue will cater to both an Indoor and Outdoor experience. Historically the weather in the area for our Wedding day is mid 60s to mid 70s as a high and mid 40s to 50s as a low. Please bring a jacket/cover up to plan accordingly.
Are Children Allowed?
Unfortunately due to our guest count and capacity that the Venue holds, we have made the decision for our guest list to be adults only. Please take this as an opportunity to enjoy a great evening with your significant other and friends!
Dietary Restrictions?
If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know when you RSVP with your invitation so we can make any necessary accommodations.
