Rebecca and Tim met in Charlottesville, VA while Tim was working on his Doctorate and Rebecca was starting her career just after finishing college. While the first date lives in infamy, after a hungover Tim took Rebecca to an all you can eat Afghan spot, with a little help from Covid they made it through the awkwardness of online dating to find true love.

Through the pandemic the couple traveled coast to coast in Becca's Hyundai feeding their shared hunger for adventure and growing closer all the time. They spent time at the self-title Commune in Eugene Oregon, exploring the beauty of the west coast from Cannon Beach to National Parks of Utah.

After Tim finished his Doctorate in Charlottesville the couple embarked on a new adventure to New York City so that Rebecca could pursue her passion for sustainability at Colombia University and Tim could start saving lifestyles instead of lives working on Wall Street. Through tiny apartments, indefinite work hours, and more amazing memories than seem possible they've created a life together that they're proud of. Rebecca and Tim are excited to share that life with all of their loved ones here in their crazy little home town, NYC.
