Bryan and Becca first met when Becca was interning at the White House and Bryan was in his firstie year at the Naval Academy. Bryan&nbsp;"slid into her&nbsp;DMs" on Instagram and two weeks later&nbsp;they went on their first date at The Hamilton where they hit it off like they had known each other for years. They spent the next year becoming best friends, and before they knew it Becca had to go back to Dallas and Bryan to Pensacola for flight training. They were not ready for their story to end and their long distance relationship began.&nbsp;

Fast forward near a hundred flights, long drives, and FaceTime calls, Bryan proposed to Becca in Tampa when she was there to spend the New Years with his family. He brought her to the river walk of Armature Works as the sun was setting where she found a path of candles along with pictures outlining their adventures together from the day they first met. At the end of the path were rose petals and a sign that said, "Will You Marry Me." The moment was perfect, and in a typical Bryan/Becca nature, Becca was shaking from excitement (and the cold brew she just had) and Bryan was tearing up.



Bryan and Becca are so thankful and blessed for all of their&nbsp;friends and family for encouraging and praying for&nbsp;as they enter into this next stage. They&nbsp;can't wait to see everyone at their wedding!&nbsp;

The ceremony and reception are on the US Naval Academy military base, so please don't forget to bring an accepted form of ID&nbsp;(<a href="https://www.usna.edu/_files/documents/AcceptableIDs.pdf" target="_blank">click here for the full list</a>) to be able to get on base. You will not be able to drive on base unless you have a valid military ID.

Getting On U.S. Naval Academy Grounds&nbsp;

















&nbsp;Non-military guests&nbsp;must enter through Gate One (Randall St&nbsp;and King George St, Annapolis, MD).&nbsp;Military guests are recommended to enter through Gate Eight (Baltimore Blvd and Bowyer Rd, Annapolis, MD).We strongly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft and getting dropped off at Gate One.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please allocate 30 minutes just to get through security and walk to the chapel, on top of the time allocated to travel from your accommodations to the Naval Academy. &nbsp;Seating for the wedding ceremony begins promptly at 3:30 PM. Late attendees will not be allowed to enter the chapel.

A: Our wedding is Black Tie Optional.&nbsp; Women - long dresses.&nbsp; Men -&nbsp;Suits With Jackets or Tuxes.&nbsp;













 













Q: What are the safety precautions around COVID19?















A:&nbsp;Things have changed COVID-wise since we have sent out the invites! No more proof of vaccination is required, but we still recommend guests be fully vaccinated if possible!&nbsp;



To keep all guests safe, we encourage wearing masks on trains/airplanes while traveling to the wedding. The event itself will be mask optional, and there will be masks provided to those who would like to wear them at the wedding. Thank you for your help in keeping everyone safe! 



In the interest of keeping everybody safe and healthy, we are asking all guests to be fully vaccinated and boosted to attend, and have proof of vaccination. The Naval Academy will have an attendant checking vaccination statuses.&nbsp;











 













Q: Where is the best place to fly into?&nbsp;















A:&nbsp;You can either fly into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)&nbsp;or&nbsp;Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Both are 30-45 minutes away from Annapolis.















DCA:&nbsp;This is the best airport to fly into if you're wanting to stay and explore Washington, DC for a bit. This airport takes you straight into the city, and&nbsp;a 30 -&nbsp;45 minute car ride to Annapolis.&nbsp;















BWI: BWI is in Baltimore and a 45-minute car ride into Annapolis.&nbsp;













 























Q: How do I get onto Naval Academy grounds?&nbsp;

This is the best airport to fly into if you're wanting to stay and explore Washington, DC for a bit. This airport takes you straight into the city, but keep in mind it is a 45 minute car ride to Annapolis, and you will most likely have to take an Uber to the Academy. (We would also recommend taking an Uber because parking in DC and/or Annapolis can be quite difficult and costly)

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

If you're looking for a nice, affordable stay, The SpringHill Suites is a little outside of downtown Annapolis, but close enough that you can Uber anywhere. Keep in mind that SpringHill Suites is an approximately 20 minute Uber ride to the chapel, and you will need to give yourself ample in the case of traffic downtown or closer to the Naval Academy.&nbsp;Last Day to Book with Discounted Rate: April 25, 2022 You can click the link below to book or call and ask for the Harvey rate.

If you're flying in and only planning on visiting Annapolis for the wedding, BWI is probably the best choice to fly into. It gets into Baltimore, which makes an easier trip to Annapolis.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport

If you're looking for a more historic stay in downtown Annapolis, The Historic Inns are only an 8-minute walk or a 3-minute drive to Gate 1 of the Naval Academy. Visit where Bryan was shaped into the Naval Officer he is today! We highly suggest exploring the academy outside of the wedding. There is so much history and beautiful scenery. Don't forget to take pictures!&nbsp;

You probably flew into Annapolis through Washington, D.C., and we encourage you to take a day or two and explore our nation's capital! Becca spent a year interning in the city, so feel free to contact her if you want any recommendations! A couple 'can't miss' spots: The White House, The Capitol, The Air And Space Museum, The Jefferson Memorial, The Newseum, The African American History Museum.

Catch a game at the Nationals Park! When Becca isn't at work, sleeping, or with friends, you can probably find her at a Nationals baseball game. Let Becca know if you're wanting to go to a game because she'll probably find some good seats and go with you!
