We told a lot of people we met in college at Western Connecticut State University, we both went there, but we really met on Tinder. There are so many coincidences in how we met from his sister being my teacher in 10th grade to my childhood best friend living down the street from him.

My first impression of him was he was funny because I didn't understand his pick up line but hey it worked. Fast forward to our first date where we walked the Still River Greenway Trail in Brookfield and got Peachwave. At the end of the date, I thought to myself "crap he's cute and nice" because I wasn't trying to date anyone at the time but my friends encouraged me to go on the date with Brett, I definitely didn't expect to meet the love of my life. We don't have a particular memory where we both thought "I'm going to marry this person" our relationship grew naturally and it turned into so much more which made us realize we were with our forever person.

The proposal happened December 2, 2023 on our Airbnb balcony in Cancun, Mexico. When Brett proposed to me I was flooded with happiness and excitement. The idea of spending forever with Brett is the best feeling, we are truly best friends. After 7 years together it just keeps getting better. we can't wait for what's to come!
