Our mutual friends Sammi and Ian introduced us at a concert in Boston. We hit it off as friends and over the next 3 years we bonded in small doses over our very close birthdays (4 or 5 days apart, depending on the year!) and our mutual support for the Philadelphia Eagles, and we would periodically check in, even after Brandon moved away from Boston out to Utah

We reconnected at the start of the pandemic and had our first date over a sushi dinner via Zoom, just like all other social gatherings at the time :P

Our first in-person date included hiking, milkshakes, and a casual car totaling

After a year of long-distance dating and trips between Utah and Boston, we moved Brandon back to Boston with a cross-country road trip

About a month later we moved into a new apartment that we could both call ours, and that was big enough for all four of us (Rebecca, Brandon, and the cats!)

Life went on as we enjoyed being together, having adventures, going on trips, and just hanging out at home

We took a trip out to Lake Tahoe to ski and Rebecca didn't know it at the time, but that's when Brandon told her parents that he was planning on proposing

Brandon proposed while we were sitting on the dock and watching the sunset at Rebecca's family's cabin in upstate New York

We officially tied the knot on June 10, 2023 in a small ceremony with family, and now we're so excited to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends!
