Mike and Rebeckah first met through her sister’s fiancé. He went up to visit Rebeckah when she was still living in Washington, DC and brought Mike along for the trip. Rebeckah was teaching her first spin class, everyone came for a workout and that’s where it all started!

The couple stayed connected and began dating long-distance in June 2018, Mike in Virginia Beach and Rebeckah in DC. A lot of weekend visits, late night facetimes and a full year later Rebeckah decided to move down to Virginia Beach. They took the leap and moved in together, renting their first place in Chics Beach ♥

Mike and Rebeckah grew to love the neighborhood. The nightly bike rides and morning beach walks led the couple to purchasing and renovating their first home right around the corner from where they first moved in together! They also adopted their dog, Obi, not long after moving in.

Almost four years after first meeting and many milestones later, the couple went on their routine morning beach walk (with Obi in tow), where Mike asked Rebeckah to marry him!

Mike + Rebeckah are already counting down the days until they can celebrate with their closest friends and family - cheers ya'll!
