Carter & Rebekah met each other during a wedding for mutual close friends in 2021. They connected throughout the night, and exchanged numbers before parting ways. Their first phone call lasted for hours, and after a few first dates, chose to give long distance dating a try. They’d spend the next year keeping in contact through phone dates, and traveling back and forth from Pensacola, Florida and Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

One year after their relationship began, and with Cecilia, Rebekahs’ daughter, blessing, they moved in together. They all three, along with beloved pets, have shared a home life since June of 2022, and have helped support each other build a strong foundation on trust, respect, and love. In January of 2024, Carter proposed to Rebekah in their living room, with Cecilia and all the pets present. They look forward to the many years of love and adventure ahead of them, and feel blessed beyond belief to share their lives with all in attendance at their wedding celebration.
