What is the dress code for the wedding?
The dress code is Dressy Casual Attire. For this time of year in Charleston, may we suggest the following attire:
Women - sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on grass, cardigan or light jacket as evenings may be a bit chilly at this time of year. Men - light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional.
Please note - wedding will be outdoors so wear grass appropriate shoes.
How do I RSVP?
RSVP cards will be included with your wedding invitation. Please fill out card and return in addressed, stamped envelop included with your invitation.
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by September 1st. (Ok if its a bit later - can text Rebekah if you think RSVP will be delayed - 864-569-5757)
Will the wedding festivities be indoors or outdoors?
Wedding will be fully outdoors. Please dress accordingly for Charleston fall weather (warm during the day with cooler evenings and mornings). Also wear smart footwear - most of the venue is grass with some gravel areas as well.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels? Will shuttles be available to and from the venue?
There are no hotel blocks as most of our wedding guests are local. If you are traveling from out of town, there are an abundance of hotels in Downtown Charleston, West Ashley, or Kiawah Island available. There are Uber/Lyft services to the vineyard; HOWEVER, you have to schedule a return trip with them before you leave the ride. Most drivers will not come out to the vineyard to return you home unless its scheduled. We are also working on arranging transportation services to and from vineyard from a set location on Johns Island. Exact details will be provided closer to wedding date.
Will children be allowed at the wedding?
We love your children, but we will not be able to accommodate guests under age 10 on our wedding day outside of immediate family and wedding party.
What type of food & drinks will be served at your wedding?
Dinner and cocktail hour munchies will be provided by a local food truck. See the menus section of our website for more details.
