Bekah and Josiah still aren't sure who developed a crush first. But Bekah did write the first poem. Not a romantic sonnet, mind you. Just a few silly stanzas. Apparently, it did the trick. Two days later, Josiah called Bekah's Dad.

They remained "just friends" for several months, wrote novella-length letters, and talked for great lengths of time after church. On December 5, 2024, they went on their first date: coffee at Café Blue. Now they're best friends, engaged, and overjoyed to spend their lives loving the Lord together.
