What Rebekah Remembers: We first connected and started to chat on Match.com. I am pretty sure I initiated the conversation with a question about triathlons since we both had pics of triathlons in our profile. We agreed to meet and have our first official date at Bookhouse Brewery in Ohio City a neighborhood of Cleveland. We enjoyed our conversation so much that I think we each ended up having 3 beers which is not typical for Kevin. From there we kept chatting and making plans to see each other. He even was quick to invite me to his family's house for Thanksgiving! Little did I know that soon after he would be moving to Berkeley CA and I would follow him out West! He has become an incredible fur dad to Bailey boy and our new foster pups and still cooks dinner for us almost every night even after a long day coaching at the pool. I feel so lucky to have found my person and there is no one else that I would rather do life's adventure with!

First Date Friday Oct 19 2018

What Kevin remembers: On the night of Friday, October 19th, 2018 at Bookhouse Brewery in Cleveland, OH, I met Rebekah for the first time.&nbsp;On Saturday, at the park for the 2nd time.&nbsp;Sunday, the 3rd time and Monday the 4th.&nbsp;Needless to say we were instantly inseparable and she may even have cancelled another first date she had that weekend to spend more time with me!&nbsp;And certainly glad she did. :) Four weeks later, I brought Rebekah home to meet the my Family for Thanksgiving.&nbsp;It was then and there that I knew this was only the beginning of&nbsp;our&nbsp;journey together.&nbsp;Only little did I know how amazing this adventure would be.&nbsp; Starting a new life in San Francisco living in the basement of Barb and Gary's house.&nbsp;Hanging in Sausalito with friends, grilling and drinking wine over the San Francisco Bay.&nbsp;Biking over the three Bay Bridges.&nbsp;Sailing under July 4th fireworks on the Bay.&nbsp;Backpacking the mountains of Northern California. Sipping Wine through Napa Valley and Sonoma.&nbsp;Kayaking underneath the Golden Gate Bridge.&nbsp;Hiking the California Redwoods and Coast.&nbsp;Exploring as many National Parks as we could get to!&nbsp;Moving to Southern California in our little Long Beach Bungalow.&nbsp;Lounging on the Beach. Paddleboarding the canals and finally......climbing a Pacific Coast Cliff on May&nbsp;15th, 2021 to ask the&nbsp;one woman I wouldn't want to spend any other adventure with to marry me.&nbsp;Love you Rebekah. Can't wait for the next chapter and for you to be a part of it!&nbsp;&nbsp;

I first met Katherine in St Louis while working at Brown Shoe Company. The first time we met was on a roadtrip out to the KY Derby and we have continued to share many other adventures over the years! KBG and I always had that next trip planned. We have both since moved from St Louis but still love our memories in the STL with our Brown Shoe crew!

I first met Kim in St Louis while working for Brown Shoe Company and she motivated me to get into running! We shared alot of good times in our STL neighborhood and she has visited me almost everywhere else I have moved. Still need to get her out to California!

I first met Keeta while working at Luxottica in Mason OH. She was living in AZ at the time but we quickly realized we shared a passion for the outdoors, running, working out and exploring the city! She eventually moved to Cincinnati where we became roomies for a short time. Since then we have had some epic vacations and always find a reason to get together even though we live across the country.

Karen, my Cincinnati Roomie and step mom to Bailey Boy! Karen and I hit it off immediately after I replied to her Craigslist post for a new roommate in a 2 story townhouse that overlooked the city of Cincinnati! We attended almost every social outing in Cincinnati together, competed in triathlons AND both attended grad school at the same time! We both ended up moving on from Cincinnati but it will always be a special place to the both of us with the best memories!

Krista and I met in Cleveland at a beer tasting event at the Aquarium! Although Krista was from the area she had just recently moved back and we explored all Cleveland had to offer with our ConBod gym family! Krista is always down for whatever and I am always full of ideas! We had some of the best times in the CLE and continue to find ways to spend time together, as if I never left, even if that means facetiming on a Peloton ride!

Jenny is a bestie all the way from back in high school in St Helens OR! I moved into the small town during my freshman year and although we didnt hit it off right away (ha ha) we slowly learned that we shared the same passion for travel. She volunteered to come with my family to Cape Cod one summer and our travel adventures continued on from there! Our friendship spilled over into our families who now also vacation together all over the world!

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi! Jess and I met in Eugene OR while we were attending the University of Oregon, Go Ducks! We both lived in the athlete dorm but she was actually a collegiate Golfer while I had fun and tried to play club lacrosse. We went on to be best friends and lived together in college for just under 2 years. She has since moved back to Australia but we try to see each other as much as possible. We always pick up right where we left off and stay up to date with each others lives through stories. pictures and the good ol' OR memories!  
Jess is married to JP Dizane  and they have 2 children Savannah (my god daughter) and Cohen.

Laura is Kevin's older sister who now lives in Hamilton Ohio. She is married to Joe Nett and has 2 little boys who are our ring bearers! I first met Laura at the Rapien family Thanksgiving  back in 2018. She was so welcoming just like her mom and made me feel like I was a part of the family from the beginning, even though Kevin and I had not been dating very long. I cannot wait to call her officially my sister on July 2! Fun Fact: If you see her at the wedding ask her about living in Australia!

Adam was Kevin's triathlon training partner.  Adam is married to Erin and  they live in Cleveland.

Savvie is Rebekah's goddaughter and is from the land down under. Although she doesn't get to see Auntie Beaker very much, she likes to share what's happening on our Facetime calls.

Millie is Rebekah's god daughter and is the middle child of the three Hoffman girls.

Rebekah's Dad is Retired Air Force and will be walking her down the aisle in his service uniform. We invite any of our family and friends who have served or are currently serving in the military to also wear their service uniforms. We would love the opportunity to recognize those who have served our country and pay tribute.
