Surprise! We’re getting married in August! We have been presented with some wonderful opportunities that have allowed us to get married sooner than we planned. God has been so good to us! We could not be more thrilled to have you join us in celebrating our marriage. Please check the website for reception details as well as the RSVP. Our Wedding

We met for the first time in 2021 during our undergraduate studies at Carson-Newman. We reconnected when Zach took a position at FBC Morristown as a student ministry resident. Rebekah was interested first and attempted to find out if Zach was single through some mutual friends. After some careful thought and consideration, Zach decided he wanted to see where it would go if we dated. We began dating in April of 2024 and knew pretty soon that what we had was special.&nbsp;	Summer of 2024 was a challenge. Rebekah began to deal with A LOT of anxiety shortly after we began dating. Dating opened up past wounds that hadn’t quite healed yet. But Zach stayed strong and steady during some rocky times. God used this time not only to grow us closer together but to allow us to lean on each other and on Him more fully. Making time for each other was challenging during this time due to Zach’s busy summer schedule; nevertheless, we always made time for each other and the storms eventually passed.&nbsp;	Fall of 2024 was a sweet time of hanging out and doing homework together (lots of homework…). But we enjoyed going to two UT football games and several of the local high school games to support students in the youth ministry. This quickly became one of our favorite things to do together! Our first Thanksgiving and Christmas together were very special, and at that point, we knew we’d found the one! We love each other’s families and enjoyed spending time with them throughout this semester.	Rebekah was not so patiently waiting for Zach to propose. After talking with Keven and Freda, they gave a resounding yes when Zach asked if he could marry Rebekah. Zach finally proposed on February 15, 2025 and we celebrated with both our families and friends right after. Something very special about our relationship as a whole is all the support we have received from our family and friends. One in particular was our friend Carol Jenkins who graciously gifted us with rings from her marriage to Bob Jenkins. We are so thankful for Carol and couldn’t tell our story without mentioning her.&nbsp;	We had originally planned to have a Christmas wedding in December, but after finishing school in May, we decided it was better to go ahead and get married. We were presented with some wonderful job opportunities and also found a place to live! God truly provided for us during this time as He continues to do every day.
