The Blue Ridge Parkway runs through Western NC and offers opportunity for a scenic drive or hiking. Some of our favorite spots are Waterrock Knob (super close to our venue), Sam Knob, and Clingmans Dome. Max Patch is another great spot that is actually a part of the Appalachian Trail!
The entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a short drive from our venue offering opportunites for scenic drives and hiking. Check out Cataloochee Valley for a chance to see some of the elk in WNC!
This is a great spot to take a walk or run around the lake or just take in the views. It's about 2 miles to go around the whole lake. There are also kayaks and paddle boards for rent in the summer!
In addition to the things listed above, our venue has an amazing guest resources page with suggestions of hotels, things to do, and other relevant suggestions at the website below.
