Reese and Max met back in 2016 during their freshman year at Elkhorn South High School. Fate brought them together in gym class, where their competitive spirits ignited a friendly rivalry. From racing to determine the fastest mile to engaging in spirited badminton battles, their journey started as two individuals with a shared love for healthy competition.

Fast forward to their senior year, and what began as friendly competition took a heartfelt turn. Reese took the lead by inviting Max to homecoming, marking the moment when their connection evolved into something more. Shortly after, they embarked on a romantic journey that has since become an inseparable connection.

Four years later, on October 29th, 2023, Reese and Max's story reached a new pinnacle. The engagement took place on a rooftop in downtown Sioux Falls, SD. Max got down on one knee on a chilly night in October. Reese said “Yes!” setting the stage for a lifetime of joy and commitment.
