Our Wedding

We met freshman year at&nbsp;East Tennessee State University&nbsp;and instantly clicked. Between having classes together and being in the same friend group, we pretty much became inseparable overnight. We spent those first few months laughing, studying, and hanging out any chance we got — and before long, it was obvious there was something more. Fast forward three months, and on&nbsp;February 13th, we made it official. Little did we know at the time that&nbsp;13&nbsp;would end up being&nbsp;our thing&nbsp;— it was both of our sports numbers, our favorite number, the day we started dating, and now, the day we’ll officially be MARRIED! Our first date? Honestly, nothing fancy — just two best friends grabbing dinner at a hole in the wall Italian spot in&nbsp;Johnson City, TN. No pressure, no awkwardness, just lots of laughter and the easiest kind of comfort — the kind where you know you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Since then, life together has been filled with adventures and memories — from cheering on&nbsp;Kentucky basketball&nbsp;in Reese’s college apartment (a tradition we proudly continue in our Kentucky home) to ringing in&nbsp;New Year’s 2023&nbsp;during Reese’s first trip to Kentucky. With our families living in different states, traveling has become second nature for us — and of course, our two pups are always along for the ride! Then came&nbsp;April 19th, 2025, a day we’ll never forget. Dalton proposed at&nbsp;Keeneland, one of our absolute favorite places, right by the starting gates. The best part? Dalton planned it PERFECTLY and Reese's whole family got the be there!! And while Reese&nbsp;may or may not&nbsp;have had her suspicions, Dalton was cool as ever the whole day… until about two minutes before, when his nerves kicked in (adorable). It was the sweetest, most “us” moment — surrounded by family, laughter, and everything we love. Now, as we count down to&nbsp;June 13, 2026, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all of you — the friends and family who have loved and supported us through every chapter of our story so far. Here’s to forever!!
