Reid and Noah's story began, thanks to the help of some divine friends and meant to be connection. In November of 2022, Reid was a couple years back in Des Moines, since moving back from Arizona. Noah was in his third year of physical therapy school at Des Moines University.

The night before Thanksgiving, Reid's closest friends brought up the idea of reaching out to Noah and setting up a date. While Reid was initially, hesitant, her friends helped craft a message on Instagram to send to Noah.

After being impressed by being asked out by a girl for a change, Noah agreed to meet up to get some food and drinks! Little did he know that that he would be accepting a date that would later turn into his best friend, and wife to be.
