Our Wedding

We grew up just one grade apart, going to the same schools and sharing many of the same friends — but for years, we were simply familiar faces in the same hallways. It wasn’t until Reid was 14 and Micah was 15 that we really got to know each other. We became friends through mutual friends, and just four months later, we started dating. We spent the rest of high school together — growing up side by side, making memories, and figuring out what love meant to us at such a young age. But after graduation, life pulled us in different directions. Micah went off to Clemson, and Reid stayed behind to finish her senior year. We broke up, unsure of what the future held. A year later, Reid also moved to Clemson for college. Even though we were back in the same town, we didn’t speak. Still, we crossed paths more often than either of us expected — casual, accidental run-ins that felt too frequent to be pure coincidence. It wasn’t until Reid’s sophomore year and Micah’s junior year that we slowly became friends again. The connection felt easy and familiar, like something that had just been waiting for the right time. A little over a year later, we started dating again — on Valentine’s Day. That night ended with a surprise trip to the hospital after Reid had an allergic reaction. Micah stayed by her side the entire time, taking care of everything without hesitation. That night, we both realized this was the real thing — the kind of love that sticks. Our story is one of timing, growth, and second chances. From classmates to high school sweethearts, from growing apart to finding our way back — we’ve lived a lot of life together. And now, we can’t wait to spend the rest of it side by side.
