Our Wedding

It all began in May of 2018 at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pa in our neuroanatomy lab during graduate school. Lab coats, googles, scalpels and all as we used a human cadaver to understand the brain. Jen's first memory of Reilly was him sweating a lot (per usual) due to lab having to be warm to not have the brain decompose quickly and her thinking "is this guy okay?". Reilly's first memory of Jen is her piercing blue eyes through her googles and her trying to memorize as many terms learned in lecture earlier that day. We could say that it was love at first sight, however it took Jen a lot of persuading to finally date Reilly almost a year later. Since then, we have concurred graduate school, lived in separate states, taken multiple road trips and adventures, became occupational therapists, building a new home and soon to be newlyweds. Our love story is like no others and we love every second of it. We are so glad and honored for you to witness us tie the knot on August, 26, 2022!

Our Story

Reilly proposed to Jen by planning a date night to celebrate him starting his new job here in Delaware. Little did Jen know Reilly had an engagement ring for 4 months prior to asking Jen on August 14, 2021 to spend the rest of his life with her. After the dinner, Reilly and Jen went to their favorite spot called Roosevelt Inlet on the beach in Lewes to watch the sunset. Reilly packed a cooler and beach chairs, thinking it was cold beer and wine but instead appeared an engagement ring with a "will you marry me sign?", followed by a photoshoot, video and later a surprise party with family.

After weeks of convincing Reilly to take engagement photos, he had been complaining of being sick days leading up to the photoshoot. Although Jen thought he was trying to get out of it and had nothing but a cold, he tested positive the next morning with COVID. Safe to say, he didn't let a little virus get in the way and was a real champ.

What should I wear?

The entire wedding will be taken place at Thousand Acre Farm. The ceremony will be held outside by the gazebo where you will find a seat promptly by 4pm to begin the ceremony.

Where is the ceremony in relation to the reception?

There is plenty of parking spots available in front of the barn with someone there to help if needed, however we recommend looking into other accommodations if planning to enjoy the night. The venue does allow guests to keep cars parked overnight if circumstances arise.

Parking?

There will be transportation to/from hotel to venue at 3:00pm. If you are running late we will have a small shuttle at the hotel at 3:20pm.

TRANSPORTATION?

After Party?

Please join us back at the Four Point Sheraton Hotel for some late night snacks and drinks to keep the party going! We will have transportation back to the hotel from the venue.
