Q + A

Are kids invited?

As much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We appreciate your understanding with this decision and are excited for you to have a date night and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate plus-ones for guests who have been specifically invited. Please check your invitation for details. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear to the wedding?

The dress-code for our wedding is semi-formal. For the gentlemen, feel free to wear a suit with or without a tie, or opt for a dress pants and a button down. Ladies, cocktail dresses or dressy separates are perfect! Please note that the dance will be outdoors. While the weather in Austin is typically beautiful in October, we want you to be comfortable, so be sure to check the forecast and dress accordingly.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

We’re excited to share that our cocktail hour and dance will be held outdoors, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful Austin evening. The meal will take place inside, where you can relax and enjoy delicious food. As mentioned under the attire section, while the weather in Austin is typically beautiful in October, we want you to be comfortable, so be sure to check the forecast and dress accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Are there ride-share options in Austin?

We know that many of our guests will be traveling to Austin, and whether or not you have a vehicle, there are plenty of convenient ways to get around the city. While renting a car is an option, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are widely available. For larger groups, Fetii is a service that offers 15-person passenger vans. No matter how you choose to get around, we hope you have a smooth and enjoyable experience in Austin!

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same place?

Our ceremony will take place at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, followed by the reception at Ranch Austin. We understand there will be a gap between the two events, ensuring that there is enough time for guests to stop back where they are staying to drop their car if need be.
