Our Wedding

Reis and Brooke met in middle school in Owensboro, KY. They ‘dated’ for a couple months at the time, and even had their first kiss! After being separated for about 6 years, Reis reached out to Brooke in 2022 while she was home from UK for Easter. They absolutely had to hang out the next day and he was in Lexington every weekend after that! The family has grown by two puppies and they moved to Charleston together in July of 2024. We are so excited to see where the future takes us!

Please feel free to stay wherever you prefer! We have attached a few hotels on Wingo Way in Mt Pleasant (closer to downtown), a few closer to our venue in Mt Pleasant, and one on Daniel Island (where we live) that are just 15ish minutes from our venue and the beach. There are plenty of Airbnb’s around the city and on the beach, however, we would recommend checking distance to venue if you are wanting to be close by.

We love Shem! Tons of restaurants and bars on the water. You can go walking on the board walks into the marsh, look at the fishing boats, or even rent a kayak! Always dolphins around here
