Thank you all for wanting to come to our wedding, we are so excited to have you there!&nbsp; Here are some extra details that will help.&nbsp; The drive from San Antonio is 9hrs. Please put the Waterfall Lodge in your GPS when you leave El Paso because you will lose service. Please watch your gas mileage as there are long stretches of no gas stations. There are 2 routes you can go, 1 is through El Paso (if driving at night , this is suggested) the other route is through Artesia (this is a dangerous road, but about 30 minutes shorter, not too bad during day time)&nbsp;You will probably want to bring Chapstick and Lotion as the weather is dryer. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out ! And whenever you get into Cloudcroft please shoot us a text!&nbsp;

Our Wedding

Matthew and I first met when I was a freshman in college, when we were both attending Blinn College. We became friends through mutual friends and would see each other from time to time around College Station or at the lake that is between our hometowns. Shortly after we became good friends, and spent a lot of our time together hanging out, going to the pool and doing school work. Matthew ended up moving home to Castroville while I was still in College Station, so our friendship was put on hold, but we talked every now and then when I would come home in the summer. After being apart for a year we realized that was long enough and that we wanted to be with each other. Matthew and I officially started dating September 12 of 2019. As I was still in College Station, Matthew would drive up every other weekend to spend time with me! Then in March COVID hit, School closed, and my job slowed down so I decided I wanted to move closer to home. I ended up getting a job at Oak Hills Country Club and moving in with the Carrillo's in May of 2020. Our relationship has flourished because of all these blessings. Matthew proposed to me at Thanksgiving of 2020, and I couldn't have been more surprised and so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.

Our Story

Hi everyone! We are so excited to see all of you on our big day! Matt and I decided to have our wedding at The Waterfall Lodge in Cloudcroft, NM. We know that it is a long trip for you all, but the good thing is, is that October is still a ways away. Matt and I have started to put together a list of cabin rentals and air bnb's for you all to choose from to make it a bit easier. This is not everything offered in Cloudcroft, but it is a start. Kaylyn or KK as most of you know her, is my sister. Not only that but my best friend. Ever since we were little watching "Say Yes To The Dress", or "Four Weddings" we have dreamed of being each other's Maid Of Honor and celebrating this big day with one another. I'm so lucky to have a sister and built in Best Friend like her. She is the most caring, kind, and wonderful person.

You know how you hear stories about how you meet your life long friends in college? Well that's where this friendship began... If it wasn't for our english teacher making us do group work every day, I wouldn't know where I’d be today with out Sophia!! She is my Best Friend and I couldn't imagine celebrating our wedding with out her, as she has been through our whole relationship with us.

Peyton is a wonderful and warmhearted friend, who has always stuck by my side through thick and thin. Whether we were going to concerts to see Turnpike and Koe Wetzel for the millionth time or we were traveling to the Beach or the Frio- she is my GO-TO friend that's always up for a great time. I'm so happy our friendship has stayed this close after all these years and I cant wait to have her stand by our side on this adventurous day.

Cheyenne and I have been good friends since middle school when we found out we were cousins! Over the years, we have played sports with each-other in High School and attended the same College becoming roommates! As distance grows sometimes, whenever we get with each-other the friendship is just the same! She will forever be one of my longest good friends and I'm so happy to have her in our wedding since she has also seen our relationship flourish from friends to engaged!

Roxanne and I's friendship just began over the summer as our boyfriends were good friends since high school. We quickly became good friends with all of our weekly game nights that we do. Roxanne has the kindest heart and is one of the smartest people I know. I'm so lucky to have her stand by my side on our wedding day as she has seen our love grow from boyfriend & girlfriend to newly engaged.

Nick is my Best Man, little brother, and best friend. We have always spent a lot of our time together because we have all the same interests. As Nick has gotten older we have become more like best friends and I really enjoy seeing who he is growing up to be. I love my brother so much and I couldn't be more grateful for such a stud to be my best ma. Nick is a freshman at Blinn College in College Station and will be graduating with a Bachelor in Construction Science.

Adrian, but we just call him Mata!He and I were both new freshmen at Medina Valley HS when we became best friends. We played soccer together and have been friends since. He is in school at UTSA finishing his bachelors degree in Finance. Mata is 100% the most consistently kind human that i know, a true gentlemen.

Cody and I became good friends freshmen year of high school,           even though we didn't hang out that much during college, once he moved back to San Antonio to start his job, we have played golf twice a week for months and months, and I couldn't ask for a better friend to spend that time with.  Cody graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering, and he now works at Pape Dawson.

Shane and I became best friends our freshman year of high school when I was the new kid in Castroville. He very quickly welcomed me to new sports and the FCA program at Medina Valley. Shane has always been a leader and a more like a brother to me than a friend. We've been separated as his been in Abilene and now Waco. Shane has a bachelors degree in Engineering from ACU, and now he works as an MEP engineer at Meers Engineering.

My brother from another mother, Blake Kurtz. Blake and I went to the same high school but didn't talk much, it was only when we both went to Blinn that we both started to hang out. We would spend the majority of our time having fun and really making the most out of our friendship and college experience together. Blake currently attends Texas State University and works for TDK Construction.
