Breakfast spots:

- Doc Taylors: basic, simple, affordable, we are never disappointed with this place! It's also in an old beach cottage located on 22nd st

- Bay Local: This brunch spot is phenomenal! Really cool vibe, great food AND drinks! I highly recommend if you want something more than just your typical breakfast! They have a couple of locations all close by.

- Mary's: This local spot is a hidden gem! Basic breakfast and lunch, but I am never disappointed!

- Three ships: local coffee spot in the Vibe district, also next-door to WRV aka the best surf shop ever

- Fathom coffee: coffee only, but wow its delish

Lunch:

- Big Sam's: The best she crab soup, wings, and quesadillas! This is a bit of a dive but the food is amazing, and it's on Rudee inlet overlooking the water.

- Baja Cantina: Another local spot with amazing shrimp tacos!

- Leaping Lizard cafe: Love this place! They grow a lot of their veggies and herbs in house, everything is super fresh and high quality!

- No Frill bar and Grill: This place has a massive menu and the food is great. This is definitely the place to go if you're in a group and want a menu with a wide variety.

Dinner:

- The Atlantic: Virginia Beach is known for their oysters, and this place has the BEST oysters around! Beautiful atmosphere, energetic, and great drinks. They also have the best happy hour deals around in my opinion!

- The Porch: This place is stunning, on the water on Shore drive and right next door to our reception! Very aesthetic with great sushi, crushes, and vibes.

- Orion's roof: Elegant sushi restaurant located at the top of the Marriot I listed under accommodations. If you want views, this is the place to go.

- Repeal burgers: Speak easy style bourbon and burger joint, still one of the best burgers I've had.

- Terrapin: Upscale, farm to table delicious Italian food

- Eurasia: They have a seasonal menu with both American food and more global foods. Bistro style and also a great happy hour

- Hunt room: located in the basement of the cavalier hotel, this place has amazing food and whiskey drinks! More upscale and they have a MASSIVE fireplace, and its beautifully decorated for the holidays

- Steinhilber's: This seafood and steak restaurant is so good! More upscale

- Chix on the beach: super casual dining on the beach but always great food and vibes

- Chick's oyster bar: Very casual on shore drive, this is a Virginia Beach staple and everyone should try! I usually go for drinks and they're amazing calamari! beautiful location overlooking the narrows on the water.
