Our Story

We met for our first date 12/30/23. James took us the to Plantation for dinner. We strolled the streets of medicine park and the holy city and ended the night with our first kiss. We both expressed it was our best date we had ever taken. Our love grew from there. We were inseparable even though we lived an hour apart. Talked every night for hrs and spent our days off together. We had our first mini trip together that following March to Iowa for a friends graduation. After our trip James introduced me to the main love of his life, his precious Daughter. From that day on our bond grew strong. It was all about spending good quality with family. Many lil trips to OKC, Dallas, Amarillo. James and I took our first big trip together with my family on an Alaskan cruise in July when James asked my dad if he could marry me and proposed on the bow of the ship. Unfortunately sweet Harper had to have her tonsils removed the week before and wasn’t able to travel with us. We grew together as a lil family of 3. Family gatherings, basketball games, birthday parties, volunteering events, and holidays. I moved to Cache in October 2025 and started a new job as a nurse with an amazing home health company. I was able to be home every night and weekends. James worked many hours as a LEO. In February we found out we were expecting and were beyond excited. Unfortunately March 1st our precious angel went to heaven. God is keeping him/her safe in his care. James had decided it was time to change careers do to no advancement in the area we live in. James has gone through training to get his CDL and now training over the road across America. His supervisor was so impressed with his hard work that he has fallen in the 1% of finishing his training early(which is very hard to do). He is hard worker and I am so proud of all the accomplishments he has done. We talk every night via FaceTime. And can’t wait to hug his neck when he comes home. I’m holding down the fort at home with the pups, work, wedding planning, and making sure Harper gets to see her daddy on FaceTime when I have her a few days a week. We are excited about our new adventure forward as a family. New jobs, better opportunities, and family time. I always said I would never marry unless I knew he was the one. I waited 44 yrs for the right one. Our bond is strong. Our laughter is continuous. Our Love is forever. We have been through many good and bad times together and we have always kept communication as top priority in getting through. I can not thank God enough for sending me my person. I’ve waited a long time for him. I can’t express enough in words the love I share with him and sweet Harper. Harper has become one of my favorite joys in my life. Our bond is unbreakable.
