What should I bring to the stock the bar bridal shower?
We would very much appreciate it if you are able to help us stock our bar for the wedding night. Please see your invitation for your type of alcohol that we are in need of and bring the brand of your choosing in lieu of a gift. We thank you all in advance!
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there is parking available at the venue. Guests will be guided to park along the drive leading to the Tudor House. Additional/overflow parking is available in the state park parking lot that is adjacent to the Tudor House drive.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one or kids?
Unfortunately due to the restrictions set by our venue, we can only accommodate those listed directly on your invitation, including children.
Is there a hotel block available for guests?
Yes, there is a block of rooms set aside at the Holiday Inn on Arlington Rd. You must book a room by July 14th to ensure availability. All information regarding the hotel accommodations can be found under the "travel" tab on our wedding website.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, so please keep this in mind when choosing an outfit.
What will the dinner menu look like?
Dinner will be served buffet style and will include the following: cheese and fruit display, garden salad, rolls, peppercorn crusted sirloin, fried chicken, fingerling potatoes, and green beans. Also, in lieu of a traditional cocktail hour, we opted for a late night snack.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar with a variety of drink options including: vodka, tequila, whiskey, gin, wine, and beer. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
What time should I arrive at the wedding venue?
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. It is recommended that you arrive at the venue between 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. so you can be seated before the ceremony begins.
What time does the wedding end?
The wedding will conclude at 8:30 p.m. The venue will not allow for any additional time so please plan your transportation accordingly.
Am I allowed to take pictures at the wedding?
We respectfully request that guests do not take photographs during the ceremony as professional pictures will be taken during that time. We invite you to relax, enjoy the moment, and we'll gladly share these images with you after the celebration. During the reception, we are providing a photo-sharing program called Guestpix that allows our guests to share any pictures taken with us immediately. There will be QR codes posted at the wedding that will take you directly to the link. All photos taken by our guests will be shared publicly on Guestpix.
Do I need to RSVP? When is the RSVP deadline?
Yes, anyone who receives an invitation needs to RSVP on our wedding website by Monday, July 1st, regardless of whether you are able to attend or not. RSVPs will not be accepted later than the date previously mentioned.
